The program has an interdisciplinary nature and an artistic creation focus. It is oriented to form high-level graduates, who are able to develop proposals and production models and artistic creation, demonstrating authority on the management of creative, technical and conceptual tools.
During the stay in the program, the students must work out a proposal of original, autonomous and solid creation, which can be exposed publicly, accomplishing with highest levels of professional demand that requires a staging.

The Master's Program is organized into a semester-long study regime. The curricular activities of the program are expressed in credits. Each credit is equivalent to 24 hours of total student work, including activities inside and outside the classroom.

The program is of a practical-theoretical nature, which privileges creation and critical reflection in the authorial processes of work production. It is structured through four units, which seek to address the authorial phenomenon with its various dimensions, from an interdisciplinary perspective:

  1. Educational workshops (minimum and structural training).
  2. Theory, History and Scientific Thought Courses (minimum and structural training).
  3. Elective courses (training and interdisciplinary crossing).
  4. AFE workshops and tutorials (for training and authorial consolidation). 

Students in the program must pass a total of 92 credits, which are broken down into 52 credits of workshops and mandatory theoretical subjects; 8 credits of elective courses and 32 credits related to AFE.

  • You must be in possession of an academic degree, Bachelor or Master about philosophy, social sciences, arts or related areas.
  • Additionally, you must provide formal background or take an exam to accredit the instrumental domain of a foreign language (English, French or Spanish) and it requires a personal interview with the Academic Committee.
  • The Committee could require too an admission exam or define curricular leveling activities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Spanish language

Required documentation

  • Copy of Academic, Bachelor or Professional degree.
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Dossier or Portafolio of projects developed.
  • Health insurance declaration (international students).
  • A letter of Intention which declares the objectives to be achieved within the program and a work proposal of the subject(s) to be presented in the Thesis.
  • The documents can be presented in Spanish, English or French, duly legalized according to the Hague Apostille.
